USB VFD Kit (With VFD)

Note: This kit is NOT comaptible with Ahanix D4 case.

This kit includes Samsung VFD Model# 16T202DA1E.

The kit includes an OEM IR Trans USB Board.  The board is an USB Serial Converter with built-in RC6 compatible IR receiver along with Samsung VFD connector.  The board receives IR signals and sends commands to your system.  The board receives media text information and sends the information for display on its VFD. 

The board requires installation of IR Trans software provided at its website and in the installation CD included in this kit.  

Compatibility

• The board's IR receiver works with Windows XP MCE and Vista MCE by default.  For all other software compatibility, please refer to IR Trans website and forum provided below.
• The board's display works with Windows XP MCE and Vista MCE by default.  For all other HTPC software compatibility, please refer to the software maker of your choice. 
• The board works with Windows, Linux, and Mac.  See the software maker's details here.
• RC6 is the type of IR technology most commonly used in MCE remotes.  All Microsoft and tier-1 manufactures like Dell, Gateway, HP, Philips use RC6 for their remotes made for MCE.  Microsoft MCE keyboard works with this kit with some feature limitations.  All Tier-1 MCE remotes are compatible with this kit.
